I am thankful for the persons for their invaluable service and time given to bring out this website with flying colors and user friendly access and browsing experience. They just helped me without taking any money, just for the sake of faith in the Lord, they helped me to maintain the website. My sincere and heartfelt thanks for their yeomen services.

Mr. Srinivasan Santhanam (+919445842673)

Mr. Ranganathan Haritha

Mr. Narayanan R (+918088114230)

The above three persons, along with their team members, made this latest WordPress website at ease and converting the website from old php mode to the latest version. It was an herculean task to get the URLs renamed, broken links set to right, migrating the entire site to new platform and also to make the essentially needed data base for the smooth functioning of the website. My heartfelt thanks to the entire team for their time and efforts.

Mr.Raju Kumar Kartic Chandra Das (Mumbai – +919820895766) – For over fifteen years, he is fully associated with this website, constructing a custom made FAQ, Guestbook & Matrimonial data base, in addition to helping me to fix the bugs as and when needed. It was only after his intervention, the website grown with good reach and wider readership and visitors. And he is still here to give his valuable guidance and help. I Thank him very much for his helps without making it as an issue of charging me.

In the beginning, it was from Microsoft Front page app I used to create pages and publish it. It was all in simple html/text conversion done by the software! But when the time and tide changes, we ought to swim with it is the practical reality. So, I do not have any experience or expertise in creating design or developments for website, is the fact. As the web protocols changes with so many updates within a short span, we ought to go on update each and every scripting to the changed environment in the www sector. And thus this website came out from the age old html > shtml > asp > php and now its latest update of version 7.4 is pending! That is the fast developing internet industry, where what is new and latest today is outdated tomorrow!!

And to be in the Internet world of web services, one has to accept the changes and make good of the developments that comes more often and faster than one can learn ! And in this junction, it is the above persons who helped me to bring out this website, an hassle free WordPress style, for easy navigation. And the full credit goes to them for upkeep of this website in the future too !!

My sincere thanks to the team for a seamless and quick services rendered to meet the expectation. My best wishes and blessing to one and all,

STROKE

Remember The 1st Three Letters… S.T.R.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall – she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food – while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital – (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this…
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognised, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNISING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the “3” steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S * Ask the individual to SMILE .
T * Ask the person to TALK to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today).
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .

NOTE: Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is this: Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, go to the hospital immediately!! and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

108. ThirupParamapadham – Sri Paramapadha Nathan

About the Temple:

This Divyadesam is said to be the place where all the Aathmas finally get the Mukthi. To this divyadesam also, we cant enter along with our body, but only our Aathmas can enter. This divyadesam doesnt exists in Earth. Paramapadham means all the Jeeva Athmas that attain and mingle along with Paramathma and their by attaining Mukthi (Salvation).

Explaination on Pramapadham:

This Pramapadham divyadesam is also called as Vaikundam, Thirunadu, Perumilam, Vinnagam, Naranan Ulagu etc. After crossing the good and evil, one can attain this Divyadesa perumal. (ie) Our Jeevathmas will be surrounded by lots of good and as well as evil (or) sinful aspects. By crossing these, we can attain the Pramathma only if we perform lots of good aspects in our life.

In Paramapadham, all the times are the same, there is no morning, evening and night and if one attains Paramapadham, he will not feel hungry (or) rather than to sleep.

Our human body is made up of five elements known as Panja Bhootham, (i.e.). After death, our soul known as Aathma leaves out from the body to attain salvation known as Mukthi. This Aathma that comes out from the body is referred to as “Nithya Soorigal”. They could not be destroyed by any earthquakes, typhoons (or) Pralayam.

Emperumaan is along with Lakshmi piratti and Bhoomi piratti is bearing all the Aathmas, which finally merges into the divine foot of Sriman Narayanan along with NeeLa devi, to help the Supreme Lord God.

Periya pirattiyaar is of the qualities of Thiruvarul of the Emperumaan. Bhoomi piratti is the amsam of Joy and help.

So, the perumal along with Periyapiratti, Bhoomipiratti and NeeLa devipiratti are in this Paramapadha divyadesams.

In The Lord God’s views, there is no rich or poor persons, and there is no any racism. But, it came out from ill – thoughts who thought they are rich and superior over the poor persons and likewise the fight between castes came out. But, except Sriman Narayana there is no other thing called as “Superior”.

So hereafter, all should think of one God, irrespective of the caste and creed, but our final aim of every soul should be merging with that of the Divine food of Sriman Narayanan. By saying “Om Namo Narayana”, it is believed, that all can reach His Lotus feet known as Thiruvadi.

Specials:

This Paramapadham divyadesam also doesn’t exists in this earth.

Moolavar:

The Moolavar of this Vinnulaga divyadesam is Sri Paramapadha Nadhan. He is found in sitting posture (Veetrirundha thirukkolam) on Serpent (Aadhiseshan) facing South direction, which is said to be the direction of Yama Dharma – The Death God. Prathyaksham for Aadhisesha, Garuda, Vishwaksena, Vishvakseniyar, Nithyasoorisl and Jeevathmas.

Thayaar:

The Thaayar of this divyadesam is Periya Pirattiyaar.

Mangalasasanam: Periyalwar, Sri Andal, Thirumazhisai Alwar, Thiruppaan Alwar, Thirumangai Alwar, Poigai Alwar, Pei Alwar, Nammalwar have done Mangalasasanam on this perumal with 34 Paasurams.

The Lord God resides in all living creatures and even in atom. Lord God Emperumaan separates as Sri Vasudeva, Sangarshana, Prathyumnan and Anirudha.
About the Temple & Location :

This Divyadesam on Bombay-Oka port rail line.

To reach this Temple, one has to travel via Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Jam Nagar.

Dwaraka railway station is 20 miles away from Oka port and from there we can reach the Temple.

Sthalapuranam

This sthalam deals all the stories that deal with the way he became the king and ruled the empire and ended the Krsihna Avatar for which it is taken.

Vada Mathura is known as the Janma Bhoomi (birth place) of Sri Krishnar; Aayarpadi is where He was brought up and lead his childhood days; and Dwaraka is the place where his Punya Avtar ended. Sri Krishna revealed His appearance for Brahma deva, Indra and all the other Devas and for Vasudeva and Devaki in prison in Vada Mathura divyadesam (Janma Bhoomi). Same way, Sri Krsihna gave his appearance to Sri Nandagopar, who brought up Sri Krishna in Aayrpadi.

After all of his duties are over and the purpose for which he took the Krishna Avatar was over, he was killed by an archer, ulupadhan, who aimed at Sri Krishna’s feet thinking it as a white pigeon. Thus, the avathaar of Sri Krishna ended in Thiru Dwaraka. In Dwaraka Sri Krishna revealed His presence to Rukmani, Sathyabama, Jambhavathi and other Ashta -maharishis, his friends, his sons, neighbors and all of Aayars in Dwaraka. These all persons thought that Sri Krishna belong to them, but He proved here that He belong to the entire Universe and to all the Jeevathmas in this mighty world.

Draupadhi who was also named as “Paanjali”, married Panja Pandavas and she treated Sri Krishna as her own brother. When Draupathi was ill – treated in the midst of Duriyodhan’s palace, Sri Krishna gave her clothes thereby protecting her. Thus, he gave His audience to Draupathi also.

There was a king in Mathura by named “Gargeya” who doesn’t have any children. All the Yadhavas teased on him and as a result of it, he did a severe tapas towards Lord Shiva to bless with a son who would ride out the Yadhava families. Finally, on satisfied fully on the tapas of the king, Shiva gave the boon and Gargaya got a son and named as “Kaalayavannan”. Gargeya king handed over the Kingdom to him, so that he could ride away the Yadhavas. He collected all of his troops to make an attack on the Yadhavas.

Knowing this beforehand, Sri Krishna asked the ocean king to help him out from this, by giving a place in the ocean a small town can be created and is ruled by Sri Krishna.

Sri Krishna asked Vishwakarma to build the town in the land and the place was built in a beautiful way with lots of streets, theerthams etc. It was built so beautiful that on seeing it one can say that place as an entering point (Dwaram) to heaven. Since, this place served as the Dwaram (entering point) to the heaven, this sthalam is called as “Dwaraka“. So, Dwaraka is the place where all the Yadhavas in Mathura are transferred to Dwaraka.

Kaalayavannan attacked Mathura but at that time, since Sri Krishna and Balarama are born as a normal human being, they could not defend him and ran away from him and hide in to a cave. At the same time, Musukundan was resting there in the cave due to the strain against his fight again the devas.

Musukundan had got a peculiar boon and it is if any one kicks him, (or) whoever wakes him up they will be burnt to ash. Likewise, when Kaalayavannan entered into the cave and found Musukundan and awakened him. As soon as Musukundan opened his eyes, Kaalayavannan was burnt into ash. Finally, Musukundan felt on the feet of Sri Krishnar and asked for his relief. For that Sri Krishna explained him that in his next birth and in the next Janmam he was blessed by Sri Narayanan in Badrikasramam.

Another person who got the blessings and appearance of this sthalaperumal was Kuchela, who was a very poor Brahmin and a child-hood day acquaintance of Sri Krishna. As soon as Sri Krishna saw Kuchelar, he invited him and asked him to be seated.

Sri Krishna asked him what’s the reason he had come for to meet as if he doesn’t know the reason. But, the Emperumaan can easily understand why he has come for. At that time, Kuchelar gave him some hand pound. On getting the pounded rice Sri Krsihna was so happy with Kuchela and asked him that he will give some of his countries for him. But, poor Kuchelar doesn’t want any of them, but he came only to see his one among his old friends. Admired by the great friendship character of Kuchela, Sri Krishna converted his old hut into a very big house and made him as a wealthy person. This shows how a relationship must be should be between the Paramathma and Jeevathma.

It is said that the Dwaraka sthalam exists in two parts. One is near to the Dwaraka railway station and is known as “Gomuki Dwaraka” and the other is known as “Pate Dwaraka” which is 20 miles away from Gomuki Dwaraka. It is believed that only in pate Dwaraka, Sri Krishna lived along with all the Yadhavas and his pirattis.

In Pate Dwaraka, the moolavar is Dwarakanathji, with a Conch & Wheel (Sanku and Chakram) in standing posture (Nindra thirukkolam). In his chest lies, Sri Lakshmai. Also separate sannadhis for Kalyanaraya Krishna, Thiruvikrama moorthy, Sri Lakshmi Narayana, Devaki, Jambavathi and Rukmani.

The temple is opened for worship from 5 Am in the morning and all the decorations known as Alangarams (different ways of dressings) for the Lord are done in the preseence of the devotees. In the morning, Dwaraknathji is dressed as a small child, and then as a king and after that as an old aged sage. Ekantha seva and Thirumanjanam (bath gives to the perumal with holy waters) are done.

About 2 Kms from Dwaraka, there is a separate temple for Rukmani and the beuatiful idol is made of white marble in standing pose.

Moolavar:

The Moolavar of this Dwaraka divyadesam is Kalyana Narayana.
About the Temple & Location :

This Divyadesam is 8 miles away from Mathura.

To reach this Temple, one has to travel 3 miles from Mathura and cross the bridge on the Yamuna river.

After that, travelling 5 miles by road, we can reach the Temple of Gokulam.

Sthalapuranam

Sri Krishna, who was born to Sri Vasudeva and Devaki in Mathura, was brought up by Nandagopa and Yasodhai in Aayarpadi. This is the place where Sri Krishna spent all of his childhood days.

The temple where the Alwars did the mangalasasanam of the perumal is not in existence now and the idols now found are said to be installed in the later date.

Soordasr, who was one of the disciple of Sri Vallabhacharya was a blind person and after he was brought up to this temple, he was blessed by Sri Krishna and praised the perumal in of poems.

In the life of a person, there are two main relationships that will continue and end till our lives. One is the mother and the next is the wife. For Sri Krishna, there are two mother, Devaki who gave him the birth and the other one is Yasodha who brought Him up. Like how he got two mother, he got two wives also. One is Rukmani and the other one is Sathyabama. Thus, Sri Krishna gives importance to both of his mothers and his two wives. To explain this, this sthalaperumal Navamohana Krishna gives his seva along with his two wives, Rukmani and Sathyabama in standing posture.

The Aayarpadi Sthalapuranam is closely related with Mahakavi Soordasa and Sathyabama. In the previous Janmha, Soordasa lived as Akroorar, once a great devotee who is considered to be great person in character and a sincere Vishnu bhakta.

One day, Sathyabama was feeling lonely in the palace and she was in an urge mood to see Sri Krishna. But, Sri Krishna was unable to come to the palace then. At that time, Akroora came to the palace. On seeing the restlessness of Sathyabama he asked for the reason why she was restless? She told that she wants to see Sri Krishna that too in one minute, if he doesn’t come in a minute, she will sacrifice her life. As her name is Sathyabama, she will do whatever she says. Hearing this from Sathyabama, Akroora went in search of Sri Krishna. He could not find him anywhere. The time is also running and it is almost to end of a minute. Without knowing the consequence, Akroora he himself changed into Sri Krishna and stood in front of Sathyabama. On seeing this, Sathyabama could not recognize that it is only Akroora who had come there as Sri Krishna and she started to talk to him in love words.

After this, Akroora went towards Sri Krishna and told him what had happened. On hearing this, Sri Krsihna got angry on him and shouted at him that he has imitated as the perumal (Paramathma) and by doing this he has comitted a sin and that is his eyes saw Sathyabama in a different way. so, Sri Krishna cursed him that in the next Janma he will be born as a blind person and Sathyabama as an ordinary working person. But, at the same time, he said once they get the Gnana, their curse will wither away.

As cursed, Akroorar born as “Soordasa”, in the next Janma. Despite being blind only in vision, his Gnana was so bright and he always praised the Lord through his songs and finally he got the Sabha vimochan through Sri Krishna.

About 4 miles away from Aayarpadi, there is a place named “Purana Gokulam” and a Krishna temple which is considered to be Gokulam. The Yamuna river flows in front of the purana (old) Gokulam temple and idols of Nandagopa, Yasodha and Balarama are seen. In a wooden cradle, one can see Sri Krishna posing as a child.

This Gokulam divyadesam is said to be with mnay of childhood naughty acts performed by Sri Krishna. The devotees are advised to visit both Gokulam and Old Gokulam.

Moolavar:
The Moolavar of this Gokulam sthalam is Navamohana Krishna. Moolavar is standing posture (Nindra thirukkolam) facing east direction. Prathyaksham for Nandagopar.

Thaayar:
Sri Rukmani & Sri Sathyabama are the two Naachiyaars giving divine grace to this kshetram.

Sthalapuranam

The 3 Divyadesams namely Thiru Vadamathura, Thiru Aayarpadi and Thiru Dwaraka are connected with the Sri Krishna Avatar, One among the 10 Avatars of Sri Vishnu.

Brindavanam and Govardhanam are included in Vadamathura. Vadamathura is considered to one among 7 mukthi sthalams. The other mukthi sthalams are Avanti, Ayodhya, Dwaraka, Maya, Kanchipuram and Kasi. In Mathura, Lord Sri Krishna fondly called as “Kanna” reveals His appearance with His wife (Thampathi Sametha – along with his wife) along with Sathyabama in standing posture.

Since, this sthalam was so pleasant and gave a peaceful and satisfied life for Sri Kkrishna and at the same time, an asura (Demon) by named “Mathu” was killed in this kshetram, this sthalam got the name “Mathura“. (In Tamil, Mathuram means pleasant and peaceful).

Once, when Sri Rama was ruling the country, rishis like Shravanar, Bargava Maharishi and all other rishis complained to Sri Rama that an asura by name “Lavana” was troubling them and because of this they could not do tapas towards the perumal. So, they all prayed Sri Ram that He should put an end to it. As a gesture, Sri Ram gave his great bow, which helped him to kill Mathu and Kaidaber (they are also asuraas ) to his younger brother Sathruknan.

Getting the Bow and the blessings from Sri Ram, Sathruknan fought very hard with the Asura, Lavanasura and him killed using the Bow given by Sri Ram. Thus, the Mathu town was saved from Lavanasuran and all the Rishis and Devars thanked Sathruknan and they asked him what he wants a gift as boon for killing Lavanasuran?

Sathruknan asked that the Mathu town should become a very big empire, with great warriors, lots of beautiful temples and lots of Vishnu bhaktas. As requested by him, the Mathu town was blessed by Devas and Rishis and from then, Sathruknan ruled the Mathura City and many temples were raised on the banks of Yamuna river. After Sathruknan, his generations ruled and after this, Mathura was ruled by Yadhavas (Vasudeva).

The temple where the Alwars did their Mangalasasanam on the perumal is not found now since they are destroyed by the Mohammedan invasion and now at that place, a big mosque is built. Close to this, there is place where Vasudeva and Devaki were imprisoned. This place is considered to be the Holy and spiritual place, since that prison is said to be the Birth place of Sri Krishna.

And places like where Sri Krishna did Vadham (killed) of Kamsa and the Elephant and a place by named “Vichranthi”, where Sri Krishna took rest on the banks of Yamuna river are said to be some of the places which is a must for every devotee to visit once.

As the remembrance of Sri Krishna in Mathura, two temples are built in the later years. Sri Krishna is named in these two temples as Dwaraknathji and Mathuranathji.

The Dwaraknathji is seen giving his appearance standing alone like in Tirupathi, as in Tirupati Sri Srinivasa is alone in standing posture.

Mathura town is surrounded by many beautiful places and all these places makes one to remember re-kindle the childhood days of Sri Krishna.

About 8 miles away from Mathura is a place called “Govardhanagiri”, where Sri Krishna and all of his childhood days friends too the cowherd for grazing. This Govardhanagiri is a beautiful place, with beautiful and pleasant surroundings; temple was built on the top of the hill by Sri Vallabhacharya. a devotee, after visiting Govardanagiri.
