Hi, Is there a link which explains the ceremony, concept behind each ritual for the upanayanam ceremony? My sons, aged 13 and 10 will be undergoing their upanayanam at Chennai in July and I am trying to eductae them on the process and concepts. Your help is appreciated. Best Regards

Answer: You can now have the details from this site itself at  Poonal/Upanayanam, Brahmmobadesam– I recommend persons to take a print out of this and distribute during Upanayanam so as to other invitees too understands the rituals real meaning.
