Hence I / we have planned to adopt a child from an agency. What is the procedure in our vaishnavism. Is it permissible in our Hinduism. After adoption, what will be the next procedure to adopt. Thank you very much jaisreeram.

Answer: In Srivaishnavam and in Sanathana Dharma it is permissible and practiced to adopt a child. The dharma sastra prescribe to bring up the child as that of your own. Thats all.
