Answer: Week days, Wednesday, Friday & Monday in that order; Thithis to be avoided are Ashtami & Navami; Sukhla Paksham known as waxing moon is good for buying any new item. And Siddha & Amirtha yoga days are good. These details are available in every almanac known as Panchangam. Also Theetharu Nakshatra known as 12 inauspicious nakshatra can be avoided. These Nakshatra days are highlighted in yellow in the second table given in this page.
