hi mam/sir, Basically thanks for the detailed article related to sathputhras, I found it really helpful, as I am newly married and looking for a baby. My question is ,only for women with 28 days cycle will have ovulation period from 14 to 16, but if a women is with 30 to 35 days cycle ,the ovulation period starts on 19th only. what can be done for these people who wants to get sathputras ?is there a way for them in the sastras? if it is ,please let us know .This information will be really helpful.

Waiting for Amavasya Sankalpam in English for 2023-24

Hi, I stumbled upon your site,while looking for some basic astrology notes. I was doing some searching for bride for my son and i have two daughters to be married.The strangest thing that struck me was,people rely more on this piece of paper matching than more than anything else. Even if the boy and girl like each other in so many ways,they reject on basis of astrology. Now what decides a good life? mind with maturity or the stars? Is any one brahmin by birth? how can anyone claim he is a brahmin by being born to brahmin father? now a days so many people claim they are brahmins,but they will be working for cow eaters or meat eaters in US or else where for money,while coming to India,their show off ,bragging is extreme. My pranams to you Swamin. I lost my father in 2021 and he has 2 daughters. I am married to a Vadagalai Iyengar and both my inlaws are alive. During the first year, my uncle (father's younger brother) did all the maasiyams and in 2022 he did the Abdhikam. However now his health has failed and cannot do anymore ceremonies. Please let me know if I being my father's elder daughter can perform the Thevasam in 2023 as per Sri Vaishnavite code. Some other vaadiyars told me my husband is not eligible to perform since both his parents are alive and I dont have sons either. So I offer my humble question to you.

Hari Om Dear sir, I'm in bangalore and my parents from Chengalpattu,tamilnadu. Both my parents expired and i could not trace any of their relative. As of now, we are only three (my wife, my son and me), could not trace relatives as they settled in Canada and US long back. My son already crossed 11 years and I want to perform upanayanam, but i do not remember any of the procedure, including Gothram (If i'm not wrong I slightly remember gothram something like Vishnu, but not sure at all ). Could you please guide me how I can find the gothram and any prohithar in bangalore who can perform upanayanam for my son Thank you ,
