Sir, I have read the article why women should not recite mantras. You have said that women may do mantra japa. However, in Datta tradition there is a book called Sree Guru Charitra. In that book, it seems to be specifically written that mantra japa is forbidden for women. You are giving a choice for women. They are not giving any choice. The book I referred to is very very famous. Pleae reply.

Ekadasi - Fasting - It is indeed a pleasure to read this topic. Is Ekadasi mandatory for all? What about patients and people are or could not fast due to medical grounds? Instead of fasting if they read scriptures and follow the regulated principles willthey get the same effect of fasting by normal devotees? If one commit offenses and/or illegal acts and then fast also on that day will his service will be accepted and excused? If a person is fallen and do not follow the Ekadasi but serve pious activities will he get good results of not fasting? Kindly clarify yours truly hare krishna money
