I found the article on Seemandham very informative. I had this ritual called yethi yerakkaradhu during my seemandham and vailaikaapu where I was asked to get down on all fours into a crawling position. I found out that this is an exercise actually recommended by doctors today to help the baby turn to head down position which is considered safest for a complication-free delivery. It is amazing that our ancient rituals have a strong basis in scientific and medical knowledge!

In Sankalpam Section for Avani attam it is mentioned ViLambi nama Sam,vatsare, while for Gayatri japam sankalpam it is mentioned HeviLambi nama samvatsare. Which is correct?
